The priory cottages we have 7 newly built cottages which are architecturally in keeping with the priory which is believed to have been built around 1160. The priory syningthwaite is surrounded by the dramatic scenery of north yorkshire with just the right blend of romance and enchantment for an idyllic wedding. We genuinely felt like we were planning our wedding with friends as the priory team are so warm attentive and helpful.

We got married at priory cottages in july and we cannot recommend or praise the venue and priory team highly enough. Everything about our wedding was perfect. We specialise in small and intimate weddings which are held in the barn area up to 60 people or for larger wedding up to 140 people in a marquee.
