Manicotti With Cottage Cheese
Stuff cream cheese mixture into uncooked manicotti shells.
Manicotti with cottage cheese. Preheat the oven to 350 f 175 c and grease a large casserole dish. Spoon about 1 3 cup cheese mixture into each pasta tube. Place in the pre sauced pan.
Step 4 in a 9x13 inch baking dish spread a thin layer of spaghetti sauce on the bottom and arrange manicotti in a single layer. Stir in the cottage cheese spinach parmesan cheese eggs and salt. Fill each manicotti shell some chesse mixture and arrange on the sauce.
In a large bowl combine sausage and cottage cheese. Meanwhile for filling in a large bowl beat cream cheese until smooth. In a large bowl stir together ricotta cheese 1 1 2 cups mozzarella cheese 1 4 cup parmesan cheese eggs parsley and seasonings.
Arrange manicotti over sauce. Spread some sauce on the bottom of a 13x 9 pan. Spoon mixture into manicotti shells using at least 1 3 cup per shell.
In a large pot boil the manicotti add some oil to the water so they don t stick together for about 2 minutes less than package instructs then run under cold water before draining and set aside. Place in a greased 13x9 in. Spoon a generous amount of the cheese mixture into each manicotti shell.
Mix together cottage cheese spinach parmesan and egg beaters. Pour remaining sauce over top. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
